XX Biggest Gripes about Ubuntu

NetworkManager sucks:
change IP address, restart box
named manual config requires explicit selection – no default for automatic start
* sometimes after a restart, I have an IP address, but no network connection... can't reach gateway or DNS server

Sound Management:
* only one application can access the sound card at a time – what is this, Linux in the 90s?

Firefox 3:
* It's crash-a-riffic; I've had Firefox take a dump 4 times in one minute
